WATERMARKE SPRING PROJECTS…
Its been a busy Q1 at the Watermarke Apartments with lots of spring projects being completed. First, the Watermarke Apartments made it through the winter without any roof leaks and once there was a break in the weather we were able to install the new roof. It took a few weeks to complete the job but what a difference. It may not have been a very sexy improvement project but it was definitely needed.
The other major project we took on was upgrading the lobby entrance with a more authentic period look which went over really well with both the tenants and even the mailman. We painted the lobby a nice light gray with white trim and added new lighting fixtures that really compliment the space and add a warm feel to the entrance. The flooring will need to be replaced with new tiles in the future because of cracking and missing pieces but this won’t happen for a little while because we would like to minimize the disruption to the tenants as much as possible. We just added new furniture as well and will include an updated photograph soon.
